What are the components of the transport system in highly organised plants?

Highly organised plants have two different types of conducting tissues that function as the transport system.

1) Xylem Phloem.

2. Water and minerals are transported via xylem from the roots to the rest of the plant\’s components.

Phloem does the same thing by moving food components from the leaf to other areas of the plant.
