Ayush was studying in his room. Suddenly he smells something burning and sees smoke in his room. He immediately rushes out of his room. Was Ayush’s action voluntary or involuntary? Why?

 Ayush’s action was voluntary because rushing out of his room was under his conscious control.  The sense organ’s receptors collected the smoke and smell, and they sent messages to the brain. The effector organs are then instructed by the brain to leave the room.
