What are the rules to write scientific names?

There are two main rules to write scientific names are:-

1. Scientific names are always written in the Roman script and when in print they are always in italics. When handwritten, the names of the genus and species must be underlined separately.
2. The first letter of the genus name should Capital letter, while the species name should begin with a small letter.
