SalaBega was the son of the Mughal subedar, Lalbeg, his father on one of the military excursions, came across a young widowed Brahmin taking bath at Dandamukundapur. Fascinated by her youthful beauty, Lalbeg forcibly abducted her. He had fallen in love with her.
