Q. What is the Role of testosterone in the male reproductive organs of human beings?

Solution :

Testosterone is a male sex hormone. It is the most important androgen (male sex hormone) in men and it is needed for normal reproductive and sexual functions.

LH( Luteinizing hormone) is needed for the Leydig cells in the testes to make testosterone, the male sex hormone. Testosterone and FSH(Follicle Stimulating Hormone) from the pituitary gland then act together on the sperm producing seminiferous tubules in the testes to make sperm.

Testosterone is important for primary as well as secondary sexual characteristics. Physical changes happen during male puberty, such as the development of the penis and testes.

Testosterone also acts on Leydig cells in the testes to make sperm.
