Two important uses of washing soda and baking soda:-

Washing soda (Na₂CO₃.10H₂O)	Baking soda (NaHCO₃)
(i)It is used as an electrolyte	(i)It can be used to test the garden soil for acidity. If bubbles are developed, then the soil is too acidic.
(ii) It can be used as a water softener for laundry	(ii) If used on washing the car, then it will remove dirt without damaging the colour of the paint on the car.
