Placentation is the manner in which the ovules are arranged to the walls of the ovary.

The placenta is the tissue that attaches the ovule to the wall of the ovary.

The inflorescence is the mode of arrangement of flowers on the axis of a plant.

Dioecious plants are those in which male and female flowers grow on different plants.

Monoecious plants are those in which male and female flowers grow on the same plant.

It is the terminal knob-like part, it serves as the landing place for pollen during pollination.

A gynoecium is the female reproductive part of the flower.

The androecium is the male reproductive part of the flower.

When sepals are free it is called polysepalous.

A flower in which both the male and female reproductive organs are lacking is called a neuter flower.
