JOINTS

The place where two or more bones meet in the skeleton is called a joint. Most of the joints allow the bones to move. The amount of movement depends on the type of joint. We can move our head ,arms ,hands ,legs and feet because all these parts have bone joints.

What is OVERY in plants?

Ovary is the swollen (lowest) part of the pistil. Ovary encases ovules (one or many) that are egg-like structures. Ovules contains the female sex cells and develops into a seed after fertilization. An ovule is a structure found inside the ovary of plants. Integuments are the two layers which cover the internal structures of the ovule. 

SEPAL

The green, leaf like parts in the outermost circle of a flower are called sepals. The sepals protect the flower when it is in the form of a bud in the initial stage . sepals may either be separate from one another or joint together.

FLOWER

A flower is the reproductive part of a plant. It is the most attractive part of the plant. Different parts of a flower include sepals, petals, stamens and pistil. Parts of a flower can be grouped into two categories namely, accessory whorls and essential whorls.

ROOT

The part of a plant that grows under the ground and takes in water and minerals from the soil. The main root is called tap root and the smaller roots are called lateral roots. All roots seem similar and these are called fibrous roots
