What effect does the concentration of H+(aq) ions have on the nature of the solution?

The concentration of hydrogen ions determines the kind of solution.  If Hydrogen ion concentration increase, then the solution turns acidic , if the concentration of hydrogen ions decreases, the solution becomes basic.
