Beautiful Greater Flamingo is the largest of all species in the flamingo family and is found in the Indian subcontinent. The migratory bird is mostly found during the winter season in parts of Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary, Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary, Flamingo City and in the Thol Bird Sanctuary of Gujarat.
